Glutathione is also used as a cosmetic raw material in the 2010 edition of the International Catalogue of English Names of Cosmetic Raw Materials Standards issued by the China Fragrance Blossom Association and the 2014 Advertisement on the Catalogue of Names of Used Cosmetic Raw Materials issued by the China Food and Drug Administration, and there is no report that glutathione is unsafe for external use.
