Effect

Echinacea purpura polyphenols are extracts from the stems, leaves, and roots of Echinacea purpura, a plant in the composite family. It is a yellow brown powder. The effective ingredients include amides, caffeic acid ester derivatives, flavonoids, and volatile oils. Its specification is based on dried products, with a total phenol content of no less than 4.0%. Its pharmacological action is as an immune modulator and immune stimulator. It has antiviral, antifungal, anti-tumor, insecticidal, and anti-inflammatory effects.


Echinacea purpurea has good anti-inflammatory effects. It is effective for common colds and injuries, influenza and colds, polyarthritis, infantile whooping cough and upper respiratory tract infection, pediatric otitis media, tuberculosis, gynecological infectious diseases, urinary system infection, tracheitis, tonsillitis, eczema, allergic diseases, chronic prostatitis, warts, psoriasis, candidiasis, chronic skin ulcers and chronic osteomyelitis.
