Source of raw materials
Bupleurum root extract is a brown yellow fine powder extracted from dried root or whole grass of Bupleurum chinense or narrow leaf Bupleurum chinense. The common medicinal Bupleurum chinense can be divided into North Bupleurum chinense and South Bupleurum chinense, which are distributed in Northeast, North China, Northwest, Central and East China provinces. As early as 1987, the relevant medical and scientific research departments in China used the tablets made of flavonoids from the extract of Chaihu root to treat children's pneumonia, and the effect was remarkable.
Main components
Radix Bupleuri Extract mainly contains saikosaponin A, saikosaponin B1, saikosaponin B2, saikosaponin C, saikosaponin D, saikosaponins, fatty acids, sterols, eugenol, eugenol and other effective components.
Main efficacy
1. Antipyretic and anti-inflammatory
Radix Bupleuri Extract has a significant central antipyretic and cooling effect, and its effective components are related to the saponins and volatile oils contained in it.
2. Depressurization and anticoagulation
Saponins from Radix Bupleuri can reduce blood pressure and heart rate in rats, and its effect is stronger when injected intravenously.
3. Enhance immune function
Bupleurum root extract and Bupleurum chinense polysaccharide have immune enhancement effect.
4. For metabolism of blood lipid, sugar and protein, saikosaponin and sapogenin can reduce serum cholesterol and triglyceride, α Spinach sterol has the effect of lowering blood cholesterol.
