A woody plant of the Rosaceae genus Rubus is the raspberry. This fruit has barbs on its branches and a sweet and sour flavor. The fruit of the raspberry, which is a type of aggregation fruit with red, gold, and black colors, serves as the primary ingredient in 100% organic raspberry extract. While it is commonly available in Europe and the US, it is hardly ever heard of in China. It is only sparsely grown in Northeast China and is relatively uncommon on the market.
Application of 100% organic raspberry extract
One type of plant, the raspberry, has both culinary and medicinal uses. Its fruit can be utilized in the food industry to manufacture wine, jam, juice, drink, etc., in addition to being used in clinics to treat cancer and reduce inflammation. Tea drinks and sweeteners can be made from raspberry leaves instead of tea.
Processing acquisition
Prepare 100% organic raspberry extract using organic raspberries in Method 1.
1. To obtain raspberry powder, take the raspberry medicine, wash it with water, dry it in the air, smash it, and pass it through an 800 mesh sieve;
2. Stir evenly, then add raspberry powder to a 70% ethanol aqueous solution in a ratio of 20 mL/g of liquid to material. The mixture is then extracted twice for 45 minutes at 25 kHz, 450 W, and 45 °C.
3. Concentrate the raspberry concentrated solution, which should have a volume of 1/8 to 1/6 of the volume of the raspberry alcohol extraction solution, from the alcohol extraction mixture in step S2;
4. To make raspberry extract, freeze and dry raspberry concentrate at - 30 to 40 °C for 25 minutes, then grind it into a powder and sift it through a 200 mesh screen.
The raspberry extract made above contains 1.25wt% raspberry ketone.
